2027 ISPS HANDA Senior Open
The ISPS HANDA Senior Open returns to Royal Porthcawl Golf Club from 22 - 25 July 2027, bringing one of senior golf’s most prestigious championships back to the South Wales coast.
Royal Porthcawl will welcome an international field of leading golfers aged 50 and over, with Major winners, former Ryder Cup players and some of the biggest names from the senior game competing across four days.
The famous links course, with its exposed coastal setting and views across Swansea Bay, is well known for providing a demanding test. Changing winds and traditional links conditions can make Royal Porthcawl particularly challenging and should provide plenty of drama throughout the championship.
This will be the fourth time Royal Porthcawl has staged the Senior Open, having previously hosted in 2014, 2017 and 2023. The most recent visit saw Alex Čejka claim the 2023 title, defeating Pádraig Harrington in a play-off.
