As part of the Local Places for Nature Grant that we receive from Welsh Government, the Bridgend Local Nature Partnership provides equipment and training for the county's community groups.

From barn owl boxes to species recording training we help community groups in Bridgend expand their skillsets and increase their impacts.

Since 2025 we have provided community groups with the following:
• Barn owl boxes
• Hedgehog habitat boxes
• Bird boxes
• Bat boxes
• Introduction to recording training
• Wildflower seeds
• First aid training
• Bird ringing equipment
• More training to come this year - watch this space!
