Local Places for Nature Funding Guidance Released - Submit Your Ideas for Nature
September 15, 2025
The Bridgend Local Nature Partnership has recently received the Welsh Government guidance for the Local Places for Nature funding for 2025-2027. Current plans include several habitat improvement schemes, orchard creation and community garden projects, as well as equipment and training provision!
The Local Places for Nature fund was established with the intention of helping nature on your doorstep. The Bridgend Local Nature Partnership wants to ensure that all Bridgend residents have access to nature near where they live, work or study.
If you, or your community group, have a proposal for funding - please let us know at biodiversity@bridgend.gov.uk.
