From the 25th to 27th September 2026, Porthcawl will once again be transformed into a celebration of all things Elvis, as thousands of fans, tribute artists and music lovers descend on the seaside town for one of the biggest Elvis events in the world. With performances taking place across major venues and right throughout the town, the event is once again set to create a fantastic weekend by the coast!
Here’s your guide to what’s happening across Porthcawl during the festival:
The Official Shows at Trecco Bay Holiday Park
At the heart of the festival are the official shows at the Showdome, Trecco Bay Holiday Park, where some of the weekend’s biggest moments will take place. The prestigious Best Festival Elvis competition is one of the major highlights, with Elvis Tribute Artists (ETAs) competing across two heats before the finalists battle it out in Sunday’s Grand Final. Keep an eye on ticket availability and plan ahead - the Grand Final is already listed as sold out, showing just how popular these performances are.
The 2026 Official Shows include:
- Friday 25 September, 1.30pm: Best Festival Elvis – Heat One
- Friday 25 September, 4.30pm: Acoustic Elvis
- Saturday 26 September, 1.30pm: Best Festival Elvis – Heat Two
- Sunday 27 September, 11am: The Elvis Gospel Show
- Sunday 27 September, 2pm: Best Festival Elvis – Grand Final
There’s also free entertainment within the holiday park’s pavilion, and family-friendly activities such as the best dressed dog competition, making Trecco Bay the place to go for fans who want to experience a variety of Elvis-themed entertainment.
Elvis Takes Over The Hi Tide
While Trecco Bay is the home of the official competition, The Hi Tide is also where you’ll find a huge amount of the festival’s entertainment, with non-stop ETA shows over the weekend.
A long-standing supporter of the Porthcawl Elvis Festival, The Hi Tide hosts its own packed programme across the festival period, running from Thursday 24th September through to Sunday 27th September.
There’s always something happening from the morning and well into the evening, with ticketed shows alongside free entertainment within the Hi Tide’s various areas across the venue. And with its seafront setting, you can easily combine your Elvis experience with a stroll along the coast, a bite to eat or a wander around Porthcawl.
Discover the Fringe Festival Across Porthcawl
Perhaps the thing that makes the Porthcawl Elvis Festival truly special is that you don’t need a ticket to experience the jam-packed entertainment offered across the town.
The festival spills out from its main venues and takes over the town through its famous Fringe Festival. Pubs, cafés, shops and other local businesses get involved, putting on their own Elvis-themed decorations and entertainment and helping to create a unique atmosphere across the town, and plenty of fans dress up for the occasion, making Porthcawl a colourful wonderland of all things retro for this one amazing weekend every year. The result is a town-wide party where the festival atmosphere follows you wherever you go.
