Unhidden Coding Talent

Just a few months ago, a group of Year 7 pupils from Porthcawl, Cynffig and Brynteg schools in Bridgend had little to no experience in coding. On Saturday 20 June 2026, they will proudly be showcasing their work at Carnegie House Arts Centre, Wyndham Street, Bridgend, CF31 1EF. The exhibition will run from 2:00pm–5:00pm, with a short presentation taking place between 3:00pm–4:00pm. As far as I am aware, this is the first exhibition of its kind in Bridgend. The project highlights how creativity and creative practice can support the learning of coding and digital skills in young people. I am getting in touch because it would be wonderful to help promote this inspiring work and celebrate the creativity and achievements of these pupils. I wondered if you might have any ideas or opportunities that could help raise awareness of the exhibition.
