Built in 1932, the Grand Pavilion is an Art-Deco multi purpose venue offering live shows, conference and wedding facilities and private parties. The Theatre is situated on the seafront with panoramic views of the Heritage Coast.

Porthcawl Pumpkin Patch opens again in October 2025, where we've been growing pumpkins ready for the Halloween season. We've got 8 acres of fields with lots of pumpkin varieties to choose from. Weather you want to carve a traditional orange pumpkin or create a Halloween display with munchkin pumpkins and our white and green coloured pumpkins - we've got something for everyone. No booking required, just turn up to the farm and check the weather before coming (you may need your wellies). We have free parking on site too.
Dissect pellets to find out what owls eat! Owls are carnivorous birds that swallow their prey whole. Since they cannot digest fur, bones, teeth, and feathers, these parts are compacted into a pellet and coughed up! Carefully separate the pellets to discover bones of small animals, compare them to ID charts to identify mice, shrews, voles and even other birds. Children must be supervised by an adult. All materials and tools are provided. Ages 5+
