BeachFest @ Porthcawl 2025

Featuring RNLI RescueFest

Wave hello to BeachFest!

21st – 22nd June 2025

Dive into an action-packed weekend of beach sports, lifeboat displays and bucketfuls of more fun as BeachFest returns to Porthcawl’s shores on Saturday and Sunday 21st – 22nd June.

Sandy Bay will once again play host to the beach sports elite, as teams from across the UK compete across beach volleyball, surf rowing, beach rugby and more. Families will be able to get involved in the action with ‘have-a-go' sessions throughout the weekend.

Join Beach Academy Wales throughout the weekend for marine wildlife rescue workshops and sand building competitions, and cast your eyes out to sea and spot the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer, the Waverley as it approaches to dock in Porthcawl on Sunday 22nd June.

The RNLI will be hosting exciting demonstrations, entertainment and fundraising activities with the return of its popular RescueFest event on Saturday 21st June, alongside a variety of music, games, entertainment, displays, demonstrations and market stalls throughout Porthcawl over the weekend.

Whether you want to see the best of UK beach sports, enjoy a host of family fun or simply soak up the lively atmosphere, Porthcawl is the place to be on this jam-packed weekend of epic seaside activities!
